Whether incompetence or malicious intent, many of the big problems facing the world are created by the actions of a handful of influential individuals, particularly in the United States. I would love to see AI applied to, for instance, application of law/evaluation of evidence/judicial and law enforcement oversight but the reality is incompetent and malicious people with control don't want to relinquish control. How do we circumnavigate/overcome this obstacle?
