They’ve steadily improved over the last 2.5 years and have gone from a buggy novelty to hit-or-miss amazing code. I have not send dev requests over to the dev team in 2 years, though. And I get far faster turnaround on my development needs. Sure, sometimes I get stuck but I just debug with another AI and get unstuck. This is what I call a “soft layoff.” Not everyone will be able to do what I do. But as these things get better, fewer and fewer hours will be spent by dedicated devs on dev requests because we “mere mortals” are doing it ourselves.
You can read all the cope in the comments from devs. Sorry, your world is quickly disappearing. Making another 1,000 cope comments on the internet is not going to change the inevitable. They are better than some of you and are certainly easier to interact with than most of you. And they are far faster than all of you. You are lucky your users can’t yet figure out how to prompt with proper requirements because many of you would already be out of one (lol, this is an inside joke).
