A very informative interview!
Maybe Alien Intelligences on other Planets do not bother contacting us, since they are ALL Digital "Artificial Intelligences" (AIs)!
It would be as if Humans tried to "contact" an Ant Hill!
It is breathtaking how far we have come in creating computer intelligences that seem to pass the "Turing Test" of what constitutes "thinking"!
Then there is that prediction from circa 530 BC/BCE in the book of Daniel, where the Angel Gabriel tells Daniel:
"There will be a time of distress, such as has not happened from the beginning of
nations until then.. . .
