What's being missed here is the purpose behind economy. The economy must work for the people, as much as we demand people work for the economy. When the economy stops working for the people there is no more incentive for people to take part in the economy. The social contract is broken. So yes, the artificial intelligence is doing something that humans do already, however, it does not provide a net social benefit, since it simply puts the graphic designers and artists out of a job.
