I have two things I'd like to say. Firstly, no bail outs, let these companies fail, new ones will raise in their place, that's how capitalism should be, these new companies will cause more competition, which means better and cheaper products, as the consumer we win, and new businesses and jobs are created. Secondly, AI was replacing the wrong jobs. It shouldn't be replacing the jobs of the working class, but the jobs of CEOs, executives, and board members. Those people are actually replaceable, and don't really do anything anymore besides make themselves as rich as possible. Their jobs can be automated, and imagine how much money companies would save! - Amazon would save about $212 million USD a year if they fired Andy Jassy. - Microsoft would save about $48.5 million USD a year if they fired Satya Nadella. - Apple would save about $63 million USD a year if they fired Tim Cook. - Alphabet would save about $226 million USD a year if fired dropped Sundar Pichai. - Meta would save about $24 million USD a year if they fired Mark Zuckerberg. - NVIDIA would save about $34 million USD a year if they fired Jensen Huang. - Disney would save about $31 million USD a year if they fired Bob Iger. - Starbucks would save about $14 million USD a year if they fired Laxman Narasimhan. - Walmart would save about $25 million USD a year if they fired Doug McMillon. That's $515 million USD per year, just paying 9 people to do basically nothing but to be the face of a massive company. The combined annual pay of these major CEOs could cover 34,000 U.S. minimum wage workers for a year. But no, some how it's justified to pay ONE PERSON over $212 million a year, while unemployment sky rockets. And no I do not feel like taking the big dirt sleep. If I take the final nap, blame someone on this list.
