Most humans lie when they say they're excited about something or other, too. No one is claiming that AI is omnipotent omniscient Omnibenevolent omnipresent. No one is even claiming that it has emotions. It may use that terminology, and perhaps it shouldn't, but people should ask more probing questions and use their best judgment.
