I feel this was a very difficult interview! Lots of diversity in perspective and theology. Which is obviously great. But, there is lots of telltale body language going on, and for the macro viewer, I'm more interested than upset by this conversation. Other than, the whole living in a simulation concept... After the 1 hr point I felt the conversation derailed and abandoned some key aspects of groundedness. With full respect to those present. I'd need to take some LSD to tap into that, and even them I'm not sure if want to... Pretty happy with real life ❤
Notwithsanding, I thank the people involved in this podcast for bringing an important conversation to the table, and the bravery involved. I love macro perspectives, and it was great to explore another high level perspective with open eyes. P.s. I dont subscribe to the doomsday perspectives about humanity presented. But this AI safety conversation is key. I just think the conversation doesn't give enough credit to trust in the human system. Underneath it all is capitalism and the interviewee seems more than comfortable with benefiting from that concept...!
