I don't believe in driving without full control, it's very reckless. I think the most "self controlling vehicle" should have is AUTOMATIC and not just MANUAL. It's not full top control to your vehicle, but it's enough to keep your head up, pay attention, and do things. Although, I'm not into Cruise Control, at all. I think they should stop making them personally. even if you're some pro-Dxth s4x4n1st, do you really wanna go through the trouble of being the victim or the felon even by accident? So anyway, I have at least 3 fully functional ability to go cruise control vehicles, and I've only had it enabled for like less than a minute. it's a convenience to keep you distracted/less focused/lazier, quite literally, the last thing you should do while going several mph. auto pilot? That's just asking for a de4xh wish sooner. you probably shoulnd't be driving to begin with if you really think robots can transport you without even a bit of your focus. yeah cruise control may be great for a lot of people but I still think it's not all there to exist in the long run. people can mod it if they seriously want to, but I just think they should be outright banned from stock new vehicles. I wouldn't use it on my bike, well, I actually had cruise control on an e-scooter, so maybe that's 4, and I tried it to try it, it's cool, it's a fun idea, but I bet most existing accidents these days had it on, outside of driving drunk.
