I think we should change capital gains tax. Essentially if your investment increases jobs, salary for average employees, we can keep the current rate. If the company you invest in reduce head count through outsourcing, AI, or just makes money for the C-Suite you get hit with a 40% rate. Whether it be hedge fund mangers, Warren Buffet, Vanguard, or teacher unions, we need to stop funding these (Pensions) with people losing jobs. You can use something like payroll taxes or social security contributions so you don’t gain the system by just paying Elon his billions.
