All of the AI image and video generators that use a specific artist or production company’s style say something about the danger of trying to legitimize AI “art” slop. Like the “turn your selfie into Disney princess style!” or “turn your video into a Ghibli scene” or “make your pet a Zootopia animal.” Actual artists had to spend countless hours refining their skills and then often years developing these characters. So what happens when all of the actual artists are run out of the “art” world and replaced with AI? We just won’t have any innovative design anymore? Just a bunch of trashy renderings of someone else’s style from decades prior?
