This three leg trip is more of a hassle than the one leg trip in a robotaxi. For most people making most trips, legs one and three of a public transit ride require too much time and effort to make public transit worthwhile. This is why robotaxis will win over public transit for most rides. Competition and Tesla's cheeper Cybercab are expected to dramatically lower the price of robotaxi rides.
