I think inorder for a company to fully automate they should be a publicy traded (not publicly owned) dividend paying stock. A set percentage of shares must be set aside for ownership by retired, disabled, or special need cases. This prevents robotic used for elitist siphoning of wealth which could go full r***rd with automation.
edit: back in the days of whaling towns would pool resources together to charter a vessel for whaling which then each investor would be owed there due enabling for pre-stock market investing for the average man. Towns and people could use these automated company structures to support themselves through a form of public option investing to buffer against automation.
