Birth, life, death, rebirth. Are we so arrogant to think that we are the first humans to be going through this cycle? I am convinced previous human societies have evolved to their ultimate destruction. Maybe even Advanced AI has existed before. After total destruction, With a few surviving to restart our species we evolve again. Earth has existed for millions of years - and we think our evolution of say 5-10,000 years is somehow unique.
