i am genuinely happy to see ASI. No more dumb politicians, scientists are taken seriously, people don't have to rely on a broken democracy, where many can't even vote properly on topics. The idea of ASI being a killing machine feels too much like what people were always being afraid of- being weaker than someone else. The wealth inequality is too high for me to give a f anymore, i'd rather have AI lead with some sense. My own elders are actively killing me by not protesting for better conditions, so I will never have children, and millions more of the same. I am NOT afraid of AI, I am afraid that humans will always be in power forever.
