And here we go again. Just because it's a new technology doesn't mean people have to or will use it. Just because the combine harvester was invented doesn't mean shovels disappeared. People do things based on what they can afford. Apples can be grown by AI robots, but also by humans. If robots lower the price of apples, but people still can't afford even those cheap apples, then they're not really that cheap, are they? If people want apples, they'll simply grow them themselves without robots if that turns out to be cheaper. In some places, they still use cattle in the fields because human labor is still cheap. People won't starve to death if they don't find jobs — they'll simply start growing food themselves without robots. The economy runs on balance...
