This is the technology that gets me very excited but I do feel bad for the families who will be affected. Automation will improve safety and driving conditions by a lot. A big percentage of traffic incidents involve trucks. From personal experience, semi drivers are always rushing and exceeding speed limits, they pass a buch of cars and then a big hill comes and they slow traffic right away. We will be seeing a transformation in the following years and maybe truck driving will be a niche career just for a few folks.
