I just don't know how much more stress our fragile societal conrtol based on need and greed can stand. We've all been handed our pitchforks and told who our respective enemies are. AI probably won't destroy us but we'll probably do a good job of it ourselves as those who lust to control dying societies who propagate the powerless against each other, as we have now, spin things out of control. Economic fear could be our downfall as we are always too late to evolve with the evolution of technology.
