About the statement by Cynthia Rush at around 50:25 starting with "I don´t think it´s going to get agency by just...". She says that, but we already live in the age of Agentic AI, OpenClaw etc. Yes, the current artifacts are flawed, but they keep getting better by smart scaling (yeah, that "S" thing), improved inference time computing, architecture changes etc. If all relevant behavior of these models has been "emergent", how could we possibly say "it will NEVER do this do, or that" à la the garymarcusians and lecunisians? If you really think this is just hype, try it yourself. It´s all open source.
