The funny thing is, when the jobs vanish in the factories and production lines, that is acceptable, when the jobs vanish on the farms and in the offices, that is acceptable, now tech is going after the people that are destroying their own jobs with the tech they are creating themselves and only now they think that what they are doing to themselves is wrong.
So I wonder what about all the checkout workers that are now automated, or the automated delivery systems being created, or the farm workers that no longer have a job and so many other industries that are making huge profits and sacking large numbers of workers.
If you want people to feel sorry for your losses then where was the concern for all those other industries that had this stuff hoisted on to them forcing them out of work.
It's the same with politicians, happy to send people off to war so long as their own relatives are safe.
