Give it a year. The "AI can't..." mindset needs to be replaces with "AI can't [yet]..." otherwise you're going to look like a pension who can't comprehend Wi-Fi, and be left behind in society.
In a year's time you'll be able to tell AI your emotions and it'll be able to present them back to you. In fact I predict significantly sooner than that.
