I completely understand you feelings and it is right that Ai should take inspiration of the art outside all around the world. However even if this change would be done (and I hope it will be) I'm quite sure that this won't change your future or the future of your kids in terms of jobs. I'm not telling this because I want to discorage you but simply because if you look all around you, the world is change really fast in all different fields. Pick any other field and you will see new machines...new applications, new AI implemented in other fields that are reducind or even completely cancelling entire jobs. Even if this is happening (and in my opinion this will be really fast in all fields) the real problem is another one. Think about this that I will tell you now. The real problem is the economic sistem that in the last 150 years never changed. In other world Capitalism. In other words, the sistem where people work, gain money, and with the money live their life does not work anymore. The more the time will pass and the more jobs will be replaced by machines and AI. Your question (as mine) should be instead. How can we change the current economic sistem with one that allow us to live a normal life and do what we like to do cohesisting with the fact that we do not have to work anymore. Back to your problem I think that on the long run if AI copy or get inspiration (as you said) it is important as educational and ethical purpose but at the end of the day if the AI "get ispiration" really fast (in matter of milliseconds) from all art around the world current and past...i douth that this won't effect as well you industry...Unfortunately (but this is my personal opinion) it will effect it as well. I hope you will get your rights as artist but this won't change the fact the all jobs soon or later will be replaced by machines and AI...
