Nothing new.... and it goes far beyond. Using Facebook sounds ridiculous , last century. Then being educated you can choose what you are willing to share, and use other tools to fool the system . Marketing uses always existed, and this is only the top of the iceberg. When it comes to facial recognition, and surveillance you have to be more vigilant. Just learn how. But keep in mind that only by using your phone , blue tooth and wi fi turned off, you are still traçable in a few seconds. There are still ways to remain private when necessary. Then you live in a capitalism world , unless you decide to go in the wilderness , riding a horse .... So your choice to benefit from the system as there are many benefits and educate yourself.
