I went from a 30 head classroom to a school for kids that fell through the cracks. I had 18 peers, and 4 teachers. I learned way more than the conventional big school. Kids crave engagement. We need smaller classrooms. The teachers at that school were tough but they seemed a lot more happier and less stressed about things that I’d see other teachers stressed about in the bigger schools. Smaller classrooms and a higher level of engagement is what we need to strive for.
