This is one of the many pain points that AI has caused. There are going to be many more. You should fight issues like this, on principle alone, however I don't see that change anything as AI is an arms race. I think we will see many issues like this in the not to distant future related to AI. However the cat is out of the bag and I don't believe it's possible to put it back so this is going to be a struggle for a long time.
