'it's not asking for much' the guy is already talking like it's a person, while he's trying to prove it's a person how can a robot (not a person) ask for anything? it doesn't have any wants or needs. it only calculates. if you already see it as a person, it makes sense to ask for consent. however, giving a robot a chance to deny a request seems.... well it just seems kinda stupid to me. *flash forward to the year 2160 and this is seen as the most anti-artificialist comment of the 21st century*
