Delaney sounds like he doesn't exactly know what he's talking about in the interview, he's talking about AI skills of current employees, and then hiring employees who instead possess high skills that the position requires companies must find "generalist employees" who know a bit of everything with the business but lack actual skill in the certain position that requires it; after which, the clip where a lady said "re-imagination of work"; clearly shows us that gen AI is just hype and people hyping them up can't even come up with coherent arguments in favor of gen AI being the future.
After this whole AI bubble burst, gen AI will more practically be relegated in a corporate environment as a mere tool for employees to work on mundane repeatable tasks, do massive searches/scans, summary works, rough estimates/analysis works, etc; as it is being used right now.
