I am a tradesman but I'm not smug in the slightest. Who generally pays plumbers etc? The people in the jobs that will be replaced by ai. Not only that, but when those people are made jobless, what will they do? They'll retrain as plumbers etc and then flood the market, making earning a living impossible. Everything in the economy is interconnected and you can't have total chaos in one area and expect to be able to sit pretty in your area.
