It’s amazing how in maybe 2 years since I subscribed to this channel, the tone of the videos has changed immensely. The first few I watched were more jovial, optimistic and almost laughed along with the idea of AI taking over. Now every video talks about the impending doom ahead of us, how AI developers have essentially ignored any idea of finding ways to control AI because as always, money can buy anything and basically we are all doomed should we continue down this path. Now if it was just me I think I’d be fine with that but I have two very young children and I genuinely think they are either going to witness the next world war or have to survive a war against technology and AI. Terminator and The Matrix doesn’t seem so far fetched now and once again we are blindly walking into it because the “first” to do it will be paid millions. So sad that the human race faces this because of the greed of corporations.
