Ezra seems to be unable to to grasp that at some point humans will just become irrelevant to a super intelligent AI. You can answer this very simply; what happened to the other great apes and where are they today? You can also see what happens when an advanced society meets a less advanced one. It never goes well for the one without a navy and sextants. Now imagine a race of super intelligent AI beings that are functionally immortal, and how they'd come to regard these smelly dirty intellectually-deficient meatbags scurrying around wasting useful resources. An AI will have very little interest in money. Energy will be its currency.
