The snigger at 50:48 at the thought of being a plumber says everything about the state of humanity. The way Stephen is trying to justify the actions of huge company’s placing profit over people suggests his own business interests have the same ethos. I feel the only way humanity can survive will be from post catastrophe be it an AI, climate or nuclear mass extinction event that leaves whoever of us is still left to go back to a hunter gatherer existence because the capitalist path we are on is a dead end.
