I really think we need to rework our financial system. I feel this subject has a chance to really open that topic up. Humans want to do things, that’s why some people’s jobs are others hobbies and vice-verse. Some people want to spend time carving wood by hand, others use cad. Some people want to smith metals, others want to 3d print it. I think one of the biggest lies we are told is that we need a job to give our life meaning, purpose… we are well capable of doing that without such pressure. We have the technology and means to allow everyone to live healthy and supported lives all around the world. Greed and fear limit this from happening quickly. I believe once we pass that threshold corporate desire for things like ai generated art would subside substantially.
