ChatGPT doesn't do psychological free association well at all. It shows a lack of imagination. Look at the art it creates; abstract and frightening, not Picasso or Pollack but distopian and ugly distorted. I gave it specific parameters on a language I call the "ills" and it could not follow simple rules and command's. Pi a.i. was only worse. So, A.I. is not good at all. I asked ChatGPT simple legal questions that it denied its ability to answer and yet the news media has said it passed the bar. If that claim is true then ChatGPT is a liar and lawers are assessed on honesty and morale, something A.I. would fail and not be granted a law licence. Unless the popular consensus says that A.I. doesn't need to be honest or have good morale and then I would say society is suicidal and needs a psychiatric hold before it destroys itself.
