Counterpoint: a lot of schools --- at least in my country --- encumber students with subjects of dubious relevance. Sure, having biology and geography in middle school prevents people from becoming creationists or flerfers, but when you move on to the university, having philosophy assignments in your engineering curriculum feels like a drag. So the use of AI may either force the schools to modernize, or allow students to distance themselves from this pointless charade put on by the school admins
