The bioweapon recipe concern is so boomer-brained. Its less concerning how AI will trick well-meaning humans or how it will enable stereotypical villains but rather how already cynical humans in positions of power will exploit whatever advantages it affords them. Traders using AI to print money in markets using some bizarre loophole then leaving regular people holding the bag as always, or perhaps an authoritarian regime working in tandem with tech giants to tune a surveillance AI to flag everyone not "patriotic" enough... These are the real immediate problems.
