I feel empathy for this comment as pre ai I felt the same. I hated art. Turns out I hated art because it wasn’t taught to me in a way I couldn’t learn it, I am disabled myself. I also had no support. Everything I’ve ever done has been torn down by my own dad. I gave up. Sometime later in life with more support o started drawing I am under the belief that being “gifted” to draw is ludicrous. Gifted to be artistic? I can agree but even so you have to work hard at this skill to get better. It takes time & patience. It won’t happen overnight. You won’t like everything you make. You have to set realistic expectations or you’ll always be frustrated. Hard work pays off. Also like to add if you truly feel you cannot draw there are other ways to be creative in the sense of writing, music, makeup, video editing, etc. Creativity isn’t just drawing alone and people forget that.
