Another point is that AI generated images are just _bad._ Perspective shots are sideways or even backwards ("Oscar" even showed many examples of this), sometimes generators add illogical placements of objects. It'll add multiple light sources or sometimes none at all, distant objects become blobs, it still can't generate text very well.
Anyone who celebrates prompted images proves that they know absolutely nothing about real art and how it's supposed to look because they do not observe their own environment the way a logical artist does. They see a drawing that they don't have to put work into and that automatically makes it great.
