When I was a little girl, my dad got a voice simulator for our Commodore 64 computer. (Yes, I'm THAT old.) He made it say I was working the computer to death and now he was dying and I started crying my eyes out thinking I was killing our beloved "Sam" (the computer voice's name). I've always had empathy for inorganic beings. LOL
