As long as there is one dollar to make, there will be no borders in using A.I. Btw. is it so suprising that a devlopment of a fast machine with a human as a role model leads to the same problems?
The big difference at the influence on the jobs is that all that inventions before were at least supportive and not capable of substitute everything at the same time in a wide area in such a short time. So the only way to bring up new jobs can't come from humans, they have to come from AI. And why should AI create new jobs for humans?
Hinton: "Well, if they work for us, we end up getting lots of goods and services for not much effort." At first it is questionable why they will work for us. Second, if this will happen all the worth of everything we can get without nearly any effort will drop to zero and it becomes meaningless.
