You know what I’m thinking?- the pharaohs were right in ancient Egypt. Damn, this whole time I was looking at them as these horrible, commanding, egocentric people but no- they literally observed the types of people and noticed that slavery is a lifesaver. It’s a must. Because look now - AI is literally saying “hey, I’ll do the mundane jobs so you don’t have to be a slave anymore” and people start saying “there won’t be jobs left for people and you’ll have to be really smart”. Like that translates in my brain to: No, AI, let me be a slave, pleaaasee, I was kidding before, I actually love that.
