I think it needs to be in the public awareness that adult content can be faked, this would eliminate its harmful affect to some extent but obviously not fully. I am afraid that even if regulations were put in place, the deepfake porn would just hide underground in non-public or anonymous places like tor-only sites. Cat's out of the bag on this one which is a shame, especially since the harm is usually to those who do not engage with that material
