I did Nano for several years. I'm editing my one real success into shape to publish ... it got shelved due to family stuff in 2015. <laughter> And then left the site when they got rid of the "cabins" and changed the entire site to "pastels" which they thought was easier on the eyes. Not if you're over 50. <laughter> Everyone I knew who was older who was doing the challenge left at that point. So, missed the grooming thing. And the AI thing is ... awkward at best. <shakes head> I mean, essentially telling a huge section of people that they "need" AI to write at all is sooooo insulting. (on the other hand, for some people, AI could be very helpful. I can't afford an editor, so ... ) But ... essentially doing an about face because support from a business that promotes AI is just ... <rolls eyes> The whole thing is just so ... 21st century.
