First, plagarism isn't theft, copying someone's work doesn't qualify as such since no property is being taken. Even if we assumed it were as such, it still wouldn't be theft as AI simply learns from art pieces that are fed to it just like any other person could do. Artists are only allowed to work in their field because of all the jobs that were lost due to previous technological advancements, and on top of that, they defend other jobs being replaced by technology as Andy himself said starting at 1:18:58. Artists do not "rightfully deserve" anything, if people don't want to spend their money on you, that's their choice, and going against that notion is defending actual theft - Companies profit from AI: And? there's nothing wrong with using more advanced technology to increase profits, and going against such notion, along with the appeal to "real artists put in the real work", is just blatent marxism.
