Yang has been early and right. UBI and negative income tax solve the income half. The other half: work used to bundle identity, structure, and purpose with the paycheck. Those don't rebuild from a transfer. The book I just released "The Age of Abundance, AI and the Future of Work, Wealth, and Purpose" maps the second problem. Both need solving in parallel.
