the fact that xqc says straight up the art is "better" is a red flag itself xD
here in geremany there was this big trend on shitting on the demon slayer manga, because the "art was just bad".
... people are weird, sure its not ur usual clean lines pretty pretty manga stuff, but to call it bad is just not only ignorant but also arrogant, i think for example the demonslayer manga is one of my favorie shounen battle manga, its just more mature in its narrative. The protagonist is all about caring and kindnes and prays after he slays the demons who were doomen/desprate humans before. and man dose it capture the emotion it wants to convey effectively, ind thats what i value for example as well in artworks.
but im not surprised that a lot of people here in germany dont see value in kindness or compassion
