Raw LLM Responses

Ai art should (and will probably be) a niche corner of the art world. Some of it looks pretty songs sound good. But it is intellectually dishonest to call the process "work" or to act like any effort was put into it beyond a few keystrokes. The tech gets better, and the art gets better. The "artist" doesnt actually improve because it isnt based on the skill of the artist. If you dont see why that is bothersome or why it deserves an asterisk being placed next to every ai "art" piece, then i dont know how else to explain it. People compare it to photography and painting. But those both require skill on behalf of the artist. I've done ai stuff. It is stupid easy, so i get the appeal as a lazy artist. But its like cheat codes in a video game. It cheapens the experience when you can just spawn whatever you want like in GTA. But the game is more rewarding when you push through. Dark souls would be so boring with an immortality mod, right? My point is, if you defend ai art, it tells me that you dont understand or appreciate effort. It is intellectually dishonest to compare the process to most other art mediums. Just because everyone has a camera now doesnt mean everyone is a professional photographer. Just because i have a calculator on my phone doesnt make me a mathematician.
