I am a software engineer who is very technophobic but I actually don't mind an anonymized book about my workplace drama. In fact, I'd buy it :) The real power in AI is when seas of boring data can be analyzed very cheaply, revealing unexpected patterns. If this would impact your privacy at some point, this will be the actual trouble. But this didn't start with ChatGPT, it started with machine learning.
