As nice as it would be to have the narrative that we artists are just so so very special and rare enough that we have "blue blood" it is just not true. It's not natural-born talent, it's skill. Years and years of practice. None of us got to where we are by not sucking at first. You could be the best artist anyone has ever seen and yet still experience impostor syndrome of not being good enough which drives you forward to keep being better. It's quite insulting for these ai "artists" to have the audacity to call themselves that when they aren't willing to go through all that effort and hardship because they are the real impostors, straight up stealing artwork and trying to justify it as their own.
