This AI boom is very new and very abrupt. _How AI is abused_ to make AI slop is the major problem here. Power on its own can never be bad or good. What's bad or good is what power is used for. AI is a powerful tool, but often used for bad ends like meaningless brain-drains. And even when we try to use AI for good, we often fail. If we're going to improve our coexistence with AI, we need to determine problems with how it works; aim to improve it; and make certain that it's not used for meaningless brain-drains. The age of artificial intelligence is off to a very rough start, but is should not stay this rough.
