This is such glazing it's insane. The AI doesn't "understand" anything. The AI just has to know for example, what happened in the thousands of other similar cases when the patient was given adrenaline. It doesn't need to "uunderstand" anything, it just says what already happened. Furthermore, AIs can't "understand" anything, because that requires being able to apply it to something it has no other information about. As a person that works in chemistry this is abundantly clear to me. And I find it alarming that hank, a man of science himself is so oblivious to this. If you work in any field I challenge you this: Take any topic that requires understanding and ask an llm a question that isn't all that common in Literature and media, that really requires you to understand what is going on. For me, that has never worked, every time the AI put out the chemical equivalent of word salad.
