It is just a question of time. We are on a cycle and a lot of people already lost jobs at big corps, because Google does not really need all these SW Engineers. We are already seeing the consequences that AI is bringing to the working market. Creative and tech industries seems to be the most impacted by this advancement. As mentioned in the video, as electricity replaced the people that were turning the candlelights on the street and the robots substituted the human factory assembly lines, it will eventually happens to a lot of jobs. It is just a question of when this happens.
